FEATURING

ANN DRISCOLL

Ann Driscoll was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and began playing guitar and writing songs at seven, inspired by Nirvana and The Beatles. By the age of 10, she had learned guitar, drums, bass, and had an extensive catalogue of originals as well as covers recorded on cassette.

Her first LP, Young Tracks, digitally and physically released in August 2009, is a collection of the home and studio recordings she made from the ages of 16 to 19. The LP features a young artist delivering intimate, instantly catchy retro-pop. Ann performed all of the instruments on all eleven songs (guitars, bass, drums, piano), except for the cello on album closer, “The Sinking Ship.”

2009 saw the release of three new fully realized recordings, the electro-pop “Trophy F***” the fully orchestrated circus waltz, "Ringmaster" and macabre pop-punk anthem, "I Wanna Be Your Zombie"

CAMERON MCLAIN

featuring songs from the new The Grace and Grit EP
The Grace and the Grit EP was recorded at the BarberShop Studios in New Jersey over two days in May 2010. The focus of the session was to produce an organic sound with a strong emphasis on live performance.

Cameron wrote the songs on the album over the past two years while he studied Religion and Philosophy at Princeton University, lived in Buenos Aires, and intermittently returned to his hometown of London. The songs on the album are reflective of the many influences and experiences he was exposed to during this time.

The music on the album is rooted in folk but seamlessly integrates Jazz, Funk, and Reggae elements. All the members of the band played for PUJE (The Princeton University Jazz Ensemble).

The lyrics reflect Cameron's deep love of literature - particularly the Beat Generation and the English Romantic Poets - and his burgeoning interest in Buddhism.
